FCI's front office provided clear, effective, and fast communication from the moment I scheduled the first consultation to and through installation. And they sent an impressively efficient and friendly crew to perform the work. What more can you ask for? They did precisely what they said they'd do, and they did it in a day (and on the day we scheduled). I wish all trades were this easy to work with. A few days after installation, my wife and I are actually looking around the house to see if there are any other projects for FCI to tackle.

★★★★★ Floor Coverings International Tyson’s Corner completed a technically demanding basement remediation under difficult conditions. Another contractor’s actions had severely compromised the subfloor, making proper remediation extremely challenging. The scope required stabilization of friable material with a penetrating sealer, followed by controlled placement of a 1/4" self-leveling cement layer in chemically compatible lifts to achieve proper adhesion. Moisture management and surface preparation were essential. The work was performed during Virginia summer heat with humidity approaching triple digits. Cure control and material handling required disciplined execution. Farid led the project with professionalism and technical judgment. The team was prompt and methodical throughout the remediation process. Based on the execution I observed, I recommend Floor Coverings International Tyson’s Corner.

They guided me through selecting samples, offering helpful insights without any pressure. Thanks to their expertise, I found exactly what I needed and ended up purchasing one of the samples. As a Realtor, I use a lot of contractors. It was amazing using you all and for once not having to call and make complaints about work undone or mistakes made. When I walked through the home for the first time, I looked everywhere to ensure my client got what they paid for. I did not find a single mistake. Instead I was blown away. The work far exceeded my expectations. This was an incredibly complicated job with holes in the floor, ruined boards and now you would never know. The floors look perfect.

Owen and his folks did a wonderful job on the floors in our condo!! Our condo was a rental unit before we bought it, so it looked pretty worn. The wood floors in our living room, dining room, kitchen, and hallways needed sanding and refinishing. And we wanted to replace the bedroom carpeting with wood to match the existing floors. Owen searched high and low for planks to match the existing floors, and he made a perfect match. He also did a wonderful job deciphering our condominium’s underlayment requirements and finding the needed materials. As they worked, Owen’s team patched some planks that showed water damage in the kitchen. He gave us great advice on stain colors and finishes. His team’s work was meticulous and beautiful!! Owen communicated well with us and the staff at our condominium. He and his team worked within our condo's guidelines, arrived when they said they would, and finished on time. I'd use Floor Coverings International again in a heartbeat. I'd recommend them without hesitation!

The company did a beautiful job replacing my kitchen floor with luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) which makes the room sparkle! They also did a wonderful job refinishing the pine steps in my house with a satin finish. I highly recommend them.
