As someone on the Floor Coverings International corporate team, I’ve seen countless success stories—but this was my first time going through a flooring project myself, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation. Franchise Owners Carly Harrington and Miguel Harris were incredible from the start—professional, responsive, and clearly dedicated to doing things the right way. I was replacing old, worn carpet in my new home with a beautiful, pet-friendly LVP product. Things took an unexpected turn when the installers, Eduardo and Nora, discovered uneven floors after removing the carpet. Rather than pushing forward with a quick install, they took the time to properly level the subfloor with cement, ensuring the job was done right. What was supposed to be a one-day project turned into three—but for all the right reasons. Eduardo and Nora were not only highly skilled but also some of the kindest, most accommodating people I’ve met. They worked around the chaos of my home, my two dogs, unexpected visitors, and my ever-shifting schedule with so much grace and positivity. They kept me informed every step of the way and made sure I understood what was happening and why. I truly felt like I was in great hands. It’s been a couple of months since the project was completed, and I’ve had time to really live with and enjoy the new floors—and my dogs and I absolutely love them. The upkeep is so much easier than carpet, and I honestly can’t believe how well they’re holding up. With two active dogs constantly sliding around and running in and out from the backyard (which leads right into this room!), I expected to see wear and tear quickly. But they’ve been incredibly durable, and they still look fantastic. If this had been another company, I genuinely believe they would’ve just installed the flooring over the uneven surface to save time and resources. Carly, Miguel, and their team went above and beyond, and it shows in the final result. Thank you for turning what could have been a stressful project—and a potential long-term issue—into such a smooth and truly enjoyable experience, even with the surprises along the way!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the initial consultation to the final installation, everything was handled with care and professionalism. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and treated my home with respect. The carpet looks, feels fantastic, and they even went the extra mile to make sure every detail was right. Even though I was informed that it would be an estimated 4 days to complete the floors in my small house, I quickly learned why. The installers assigned to my house would show up late and leave very early, only working 3-4 hours per day the first 3 days. On day 3, they completed my very small, but only bathroom. They had stated originally that they would re-set the toilet, but instead I received a call that they were having difficulties re-setting my toilet because the flange was broken and leaking. They told me to call a plumber, they were leaving. I was working at 2:00 when they called and had to drop everything to begin calling plumbers to find one that could fix it that evening. It cost over $500 unexpectedly for emergency call and it wasn’t a broken flange. There was nothing wrong with it other than it being old. After I sent complaint to the owner that same evening, they had the nerve to contact me the next day claiming the plumber didn’t repair correctly. They didn’t have any facts, just info from ChatGpt and an installer with a bruised ego. The attached photo was how the bathroom was left. The unsealed hole in the floor, allowing gases, etc. into the house and the toilet sitting on cardboard. They needed to stay until after 7:00p on day 4 to finish. My granddaughter and I had to wait until they left and I cleaned up after them for the 4th night in a row before we could eat dinner. Outside of the scraps and trash left behind, the final product was pretty good.

We had a great experience with Floor Coverings International! They originally installed the engineered hardwood on the main level with the previous owner, and when we purchased the home and decided to finish the upstairs, they were able to source the exact same flooring so everything matched perfectly. That made a huge difference for us. The team was easy to work with, very responsive, and flexible with our tight timeline. They worked hard to get everything completed before we moved in, which we really appreciated. There were a few small installation items that came up, but they addressed and resolved them quickly and professionally. Overall, we’re extremely happy with the quality of the work and how the floors turned out. The house looks fantastic, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for flooring done right.
