I am truly disappointed by our service and sales person Tim. We had gone to the store a few times and were being helped by someone but he took over the sale. A representative came and measured the areas in our house, and yes, we know that they account for extra (for cutting and mistakes, etc), but we had enough extra to floor our entire basement (which we were not doing). When we put a deposit down, they forgot to order the floor. We called them after 2 weeks saying, "hey, what's going on with our flooring?" They asked if we had put down a deposit. Seriously?! They returned our call a few days later stating that it was ordered and going to be the original amount of time they had said when we put down the deposit. Tim was incredibly hard to get a hold of and his response time was several days to weeks later. I went in before closing one day asking for a sample of what we ordered to take home. The owner of the store, possibly John?, let me take the sample home (which was very nice)... However, the sample I took home was not what came to our house. Their hours are terrible closing at 5 on weekdays (when most people get out of work) and they often closed before the listed time on the door. They don't have any people who can assist with a project working on the weekends. The weekend workers, though very nice (would give them a 4 rating), were pretty much a glorified answering machine and only able to take messages for someone to get back to us (we visited on a few Saturdays). We attempted to get a hold of Tim for a refund on a few items. He never got back to us so we brought the items back to the store. The person did not have the authority and did not know how to issue a refund. He said he would hold the items and take down our information. We never received a call back. We called them back after a month being like "hey, what's going on without our refund" and the invoice we received was unacceptable (the refund was essentially nothing) and they stated "A check is in the mail." We did not pay by check. It should go back on the card. Also, we have not received the check yet.

Floor Coverings International worked a miracle to refinish my hardwoods which had seen too many dogs and kids over the last 25 years. The floors look like new. When on inspection, we noticed a flaw, the team came out and touched it up immediately. Very impressive.

We recently had our entire first floor replaced (carpet and tile) with laminate hardwood flooring from Floor Coverings International, and I could not be more happy and impressed with the results. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, efficient, and completely stress-free. The installers, Doug and Jarrod, did an exceptional job. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and paid attention to every detail. What really stood out was how clean they kept the work area throughout the installation. They were purposeful in their process and made sure we were able to use our kitchen and living areas each night. Doug and Jarrod were both professional and courteous, answering all of our questions and making sure everything was done expertly. The finished floors look absolutely beautiful, and the quality of their work is outstanding. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for exceptional flooring installation. We are looking forward to using them in the future to replace our upstairs carpet, as well.

Wow. After visiting multiple floor stores, and talking with several contractors and companies. It wasn’t until my wife and I sat with Ramsey at Floor Coverings International that we felt a huge relief. The time spent with us explaining the different materials, styles, pros and cons of floors, we felt so much more prepared and equipped to take the next steps. The flooring samples on hand, the digital imaging, and mere competency change our entire experience. The patience helped us to NOT feel as if we were sitting in front of a used car salesman ( like the other contractors) being sold something to just close the deal. This was a large job and major investment and we want to make the best decision and Ramsey and his team made my family feel completely involved informed and comfortable. This was indeed our very best experience with a flooring company. Ever. Thanks again floor coverings international.

Working with the team in Carmichael was such a smooth experience. We just moved into a house with disgusting, 26-year-old carpets (pet stains, odors, and tons of dust). Sam came out right away, arrived early, listened to my concerns, and even checked samples in the right lighting. He explained everything clearly, sent a detailed quote, and rushed our order. The crew showed up on time Saturday and finished the entire upstairs, hallway, stairs, family room, and basement in just 7 hours! They deodorized, vacuumed, and left the house spotless. We’re so impressed—highly recommend!
