Working with David Stone at Floor Coverings International was one of the best experiences we've had with a flooring company. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, David was professional, responsive, and thorough. He came out quickly to assess our basement gym, using digital tools to measure and map the room. He walked us through the installation process and preparation needed, even pulling back some of the existing carpet to check how the new gym tiles would fit beneath the baseboards. He also explained how tile thickness and the amount of flecking would affect the finished look, including how noticeable the seams would be. We also got our basement stairs re-carpeted and he was able to easily find/match what we currently have in the rest of our home. We took our time comparing sample colors and fleck densities, and David was patient and helpful throughout. His feedback at several stages helped us choose what turned out to be the perfect flooring for the space. He sourced the materials quickly, kept us informed about progress with the manufacturer, and consistently responded to our messages. The installation team did a wonderful job, and the finished gym floor is beautiful. David even returned the same day the installation was completed to review everything with us and make sure we were happy with the result and had no concerns. We highly recommend David and Floor Coverings International. The attention to detail, communication, and follow-through made this an excellent experience from start to finish.

Wow! Amazing hospitality and business acumen. David was very knowledgeable about floor repairs and my husband and I would definitely refer his company to others. There were no surprises and total transparency regarding the process.

we are very happy with the work of David, Dan and the crew. We had an oak floor installed in our kitchen to replace the porcelain tile we had. David was able to offer expert advice regarding both aesthetics and practicality regarding a flooring choice. After the new floor was installed, we scratched it putting our fridge back. We reached out to David and Dan and they were able to repair it quickly and for a low price. A very passionate company-I recommend 100%!

Did a fantastic job refinishing our floors and laying matching floorboards in one of our closets. David, Bianca and the rest of the team were incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. I would use them again in the future and highly recommend their services.

David and his team of hardwood flooring geniuses were able to handle a few difficult jobs for one of my recent discerning remodeling clients. They 1) Refinished a kitchen floor that had significant staining to blend perfectly into the adjacent living area, 2) created very difficult custom transition pieces for a complex foyer, and 3) added hardwood in the bedroom, matching the level of the existing (higher) floor perfectly. They were timely, efficient and respectful at every step of the way, going above and beyond to address any concerns or questions. I never had to worry about things being handled quickly and professionally, which to me as a designer/project manager, is priceless! I will not hesitate to use David and his team for any future flooring needs and would highly recommend them to anyone.
