From the first inquiry, I knew i wanted to have Floor Coverings International complete my flooring project. Each of the personnel members were knowledgeable, friendly and put forth their best offer. The expertise was top notch and the price was competitive. The finished product exceeded my expectations. I have another flooring project in the works and I will do business with Floor Coverings International again and again.

I was very pleased with my entire experience with this company. I really feel like they care about you as a customer and really take the time to make sure you are satisfied with the work they are going to do as well as how you're flooring project looks when it's completed. It made me feel valued with the way they come do a walk through before and after your flooring project is completed. I can't wait to have them come back out to help me with my next flooring project because my floor looks amaazing!

I really wanted to give this company a 5, but I can't for a number of reasons. Let's list the pros and cons Pros 1. The price was very fair. 2. They showed up when they said. 3. They got the house done in one day. 4. They found a piece of trim with termite damage in a place not normally visible and replaced the trim. 5. They left enough behind to take care of any needs for repair. 6. The floor does look good. Cons 1. Philip Elliot and Julia Bringe don't understand what their crews do. 2. We agreed to a specific order of rooms and I moved furniture with that in mind. The idea was I'd be able to start putting back the back rooms while they were doing the front half. Instead the crew leader said no we start at great room. This increased the time to get the offices (we work from home) by a full working day. 3. Julia Bringe, the "project manager" had no control over the crew and really had no reason to be there except as the crews runner. 4. The crew broke a shadow box and neither informed us nor saved the pieces they knocked off. To date, I have not been able to find a replacement despite extensive searching. This box was mounted to the wall at seven feet above the floor. 5. The crew stacked furniture without anything in between to protect table tops. 6. Clean-up was poor with paper scraps left in the driveway and all the furniture covered in concrete dust. 7. One crew member thought it was cute to draw in this very abrasive powder. 8. We agreed I would disconnect and reconnect the gas lines. Instead, they decided to work around the line creating a very dangerous situation in contradiction to the contractual agreement. 9. In their rush they failed to nail down all the quarter-round. 10. Even though they did leveling, there are still places that creak. I hope the boards don't break there. 11. Mr. Elliot, upon receiving my report, took responsibility, but really didn't do anything regarding the shadow box. 12. Ms. Bringle, as pm, should have inspected all work but did not. Overall, the job was done, on time and to a reasonable standard. Their failures were in communication. Failures between the client and the company and the crew that works for the family. The shadow box may not be able to be repaired for lack of parts. This was preventable. Response to owner's response: We disagree on Julia's competence. That's okay. She works for you, so her continued work there is your call. I have consulted other PMs and they agree with me that the PM is responsible for the job. As for the broken shadow box the vendor ignores the fact that this crew was moving book cases that were taller than the mounting point of the shadow box, so that is a dodge. I was never asked for a picture of the molding not mounted and I should not have been. I will mount it myself when I have time. I note that Floor Coverings didn't reach out to make me happy. It wouldn't take much. That is there choice. I would recommend the company overall but with the caveat that they don't control their own people. I guess that is the standard.

We were having a difficult time deciding on tile options for our basement bathroom and Garner was patient, knowledgeable, listened to our opinions, and went out of her way to bring several samples for us to choose from. We ended up selecting tile that matches the other bathrooms in our house and she was able to procure the exact tile quickly and at a very reasonable price.

When a portion of our floor was damaged in our kitchen and bathroom, we were told we would not be able to find the same flooring to replace it. We absolutely love our floors and didn’t want to change it. We went to all the big flooring stores searching for the tile and we ended up so disappointed. We thought we really had to change the entire floor. Then we heard about Floor Covering International of South Gwinnett! They were fairly new but they went right to work to find us the exact laminate flooring and tile for our bathroom! And within days of ordering! I recommend them for any tiling or flooring needs! They will do anything to find that flooring for you! Thank you Garner!!
