It was a nightmare fron day one. A job that was scheduled for three days took a month to complete. The original installation crew didn't even know how to install transition strips in the doorways. The quarter round wasn't even quarter round, but we were charged for quarter round trim but got shoe molding. Luke the salesman was more like a shiesty used car dealer, selling dreams of 5 star service but delivering 2 star service at best. Jason Barrett the owner was a pleasure to speak with, expressing concern over how his company would look rather than how our job would appear. When confronted about our displeasure, he was kind enough to give us a whopping $250 off a $14,000 flooring job. Thanks Jason. I have to give credit where credit is due, Matt Biggs and Kyle Eads, you guys did a spectacular job fixing what wasn't properly installed. Matt stayed til 1:18 in the morning becauae he was over booked by Floor Coverings International without properly being compensated. Thanks Matt and Kyle for a professional job. Ask yourself, Why would a 5 Star company need fixers? Maybe because the original crew didnt know what they were doing or so they could fix everything the original crew damaged. What an amazing experience with Floor Coverings International Plano and John Conroy’s team. I truly cannot recommend them enough. What impressed me the most was the speed, communication, and professionalism from the very beginning. I sent John a few videos of the issue we had upstairs, and almost immediately he responded. That alone already separated them from many other home improvement companies. Most companies either take forever to respond, are booked out for weeks, or give you a “maybe sometime next week” type of answer. But John and his team were completely different. After reviewing the videos and pictures, John quickly provided an estimate, and once we approved it, they had a technician at our house the very next day. Now let me explain the problem. Over the years, the carpet upstairs in all four rooms had become very wavy and uneven from heavy foot traffic, kids constantly running around, and even a ping-pong table upstairs. Honestly, it had started looking pretty rough and old. The technician who came out did an absolutely phenomenal job. He worked meticulously for several hours, paying attention to every detail, and by the end the carpet looked almost brand new again. The difference was unbelievable. It honestly looked like state-of-the-art work. What I appreciated most was not only the quality of the work, but also how smooth and stress-free the whole process was — fast communication, quick scheduling, fair pricing, and outstanding craftsmanship. Huge thanks again to John Conroy and the entire team at Floor Coverings International Plano. Even though we live in Flower Mound, they service many areas, and if you need any flooring work done, repairs, stretching, replacement, or upgrades, these are the people to call. Professional, responsive, honest, and highly skilled. Five stars all the way.

What a great experience we had with Floor Coverings International! They recently replaced the carpet in the upstairs of our home. The quality of the new carpet is superb and the price and the workmanship were excellent. And most heartwarming, when there was a small issue afterwards that needed to be handled, they didn't rest until it was resolved to our satisfaction. This is a company that genuinely understands what the meaning of customer service. They were recommended to us by friends, and we are now recommending them to others, as well.
