It took my husband and I so long to decide on what type of kitchen floor covering we wanted but once we did Mark, Vladic and Andre made purchase and install super easy. They spell out their process and stick yo it. Andre did a super job installing the floor. It all looks very professional. Thanks to the whole team.

This flooring company is top notch - truly! From the consultation to the installation, I was impressed with the level of professionalism, communication, and customer service. Erin was my consultant and she did a great job of helping me pick out new tile for my project. She was also great at communicating. I gave them 4 stars because when it came time for installation the communication was not great. I would have really appreciated an update on where they were in the process, because I stayed in a hotel while it was being installed. I ended up driving by every afternoon just to see how they were doing. I would use them again for other projects, but would ask for better communication if I had to stay somewhere else.

After living in our home for almost 20 years, we finally decided it was time to have our hardwood floors refinished. Between raising three children and two dogs—and knowing the previous owners had three boys and three dogs as well—this project was long overdue. We chose Floor Coverings International of Birmingham, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. From start to finish, the team was prompt, professional, and incredibly reliable. Every worker and installer showed up exactly when they said they would, which gave us so much peace of mind. Since we had never been through this process before, I had plenty of questions, and Lindsay and Payton were both outstanding. He was transparent, patient, and consistently responsive—often getting back to me within minutes, even outside of regular business hours. That level of customer care is rare and so appreciated. The installation crew was equally impressive. Nacho, who led the team, was professional, skilled, and respectful of our home throughout the project. Their attention to detail was obvious in every step. The final result exceeded our expectations. Our floors are absolutely beautiful, and it genuinely feels like we’re living in a brand‑new home. We couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Floor Coverings International of Birmingham to anyone considering work on their floors. Their service, craftsmanship, and customer care are exceptional.

I had a great experience with floor coverings, The person that came out and showed me all the carpet samples and discussed everything with me was courteous and very friendly and helped me choose the exact carpet I was asking for. The person I think his name was Carlos who installed the carpet did a fabulous job. He was very sufficient, fast and professional. He was also very neat with his work and he worked alone. He took out the old carpet, brought in the new carpet and vacuumed and wiped things down when he was finished.

Excellent pricing and very smooth experience from the beginning. She explained what was needed and gave genuine solutions for our situation, saving us cost. We did get 3 other quotes from local flooring companies and none of them offered the cost efficient way to correct our subfloor, only them. Quick and painless experience, we could not be happier!

Don't refer this company to anyone. A local customer told us the workers failed to put up dust barriers and filled the house with toxic epoxy floor dust that covered everything in the home. Now the company insurance refuses to pay for any hazardous dust removal services, temporary customer lodging, or pet kenneling. This constitutes negligence and will now result in the customer incurring attorney fees due to the insurance company's tactics of delay, denial, and defense of any claims for cleanup and reasonable out-of-pocket expenses.

I hired this place to install vinyl flooring, beware 8 weeks ago and it was the biggest mistake of my life. They butchered every room. I've been in contact with the owner showing all the Non Compliant out of code crap they did.He had a another installer come look and he agreed they didn't install it properly or follow what I specifically paid for. There is so many lazy mistakes even after. Bringing this hack job to their attention while doing it,they told me they were Not pouring self leveling cement to make the foundation FLAT so the warranty would be honored if ever needed.They were so disrespectful and did as they pleased.Contacted the owner Mike Swope as this was happening and Nothing was done about any of my concerns of breaching contract terms, using Non licensed 3rd party laborers I found out after the fact, laying the vinyl planks with out any prep work to insure a flat surface before installing, there is spots you sink into ,hig spots you can see trying to push thru the vinyl planks,all door casings have to be replaced do to NOT POURING SELF LEVELING CEMENT LEAVING HUGE GAPS BETWEEN THE DOORS AND casing frame . Looks like they are floating in the air. Nothing was done by contract terms or by any codes they were supposed to be licensed for. To date Nothing but BS from start, no repair remedies have taken place and Mike Swope the owner has now quit taking my calls for past 10days. I called and left several messages to what the plan was to fix this disaster and as of this day he has not responded for past 10 to 12 days. Im now forced to seek damages to peoperty,breach of contract terms and using laborers that have no business doing any flooring work except for demo. Wrong they even did half ass clean up and left tack nails all over my driveway bits of left over materials. Couldn't even do that right. Steer Clear and look for another floor company.
