Shane Bullion, our Design Associate, was exactly who you would want to assist with choosing wood flooring. He is intelligent, having graduated from UT Austin with a Science degree so could compute the calculations quickly and accurately and his humor made us feel comfortable and confident. He wrote in advance to confirm our appointment (remembering to mention that I had just flown in from California), he arrived on time with samples and ideas of how to achieve the look my daughter wanted, promised the "white glove" services that Floor Coverings International is famous for, and finally he followed up with a thank you. While in the house he graciously put up with a hyperactive little dog (where the humor played in) and a homeowner who was not quite sure what she wanted, yet Shane guided my daughter to a happy decision. The company, and Shane, are so professional I know everyone would be happy with their service, and I highly recommend them.

Design associate Shelley responded promptly and patiently revised the proposal times per my request. The quotation process is transparent and honest. They knocked off a few hundred bucks from the final bill after they decided the backer board was not necessary in my case. Kevin the owner is friendly and hands-on. He helped deliver the scaffold and follow up the next day after installation completion. Nice to work with together. The most important, the installation team, always arrived on time. Put enough protection on the floor. Polite and quiet. Clean up nicely after installation. Explain and update the installation process clearly when asked. Hope could work together sometime soon.

It was a great experience working with this company! The Design associate Shelley was excellent, lovely, super patient, informative and helpful. The installation process was smooth and trouble-free, and we are happy with our new floor!

I scheduled for them to come look at my floors to give me a quote. They gave me a date and then I received a call asking if it was a place to park because it just snowed days prior. I told that person I would make sure they have a spot. It seemed like she wanted to reschedule or something Then a day or two later I get an email stating the sales rep was all of a sudden sick. How convenient and good timing. So I said okay and I wasn't going to work with them because the timing was suspicious. But I said that I would still work with them. So we scheduled another day. I received an email asking if they could come out on a specific day and I said yes but I guess I didn't respond that same day and that was a problem. The next email I got was a response with the another date almost two weeks later. I asked what happend to the earlier date and I was told the sales rep books up fast and they got booked and then the asked me if I wanted another sales rep and I said yes and asked what time could they make it. The final email the sent me said after checking they don't service my area. Like really?! I already gave them my address the first time we talked, and now y'all don't service my area? Which is the Philadelphia area. That's real strange to me and still confused by their actions and responses. I wasn't rude or anything. Maybe someone will have better luck with this company but I couldn't be okay without sharing this with whoever decides to contact this company and maybe they will see this and not do this to the next potential customer.

I called Floor Coverings International because they had the best ratings over all. They gave me a quote that was 2x what others were going to charge but I was not happy with the other quotes. So we went with this firm. The guys who installed the flooring were great. Unfortunately we did not get their names to be able to include in my review. We have requested many times for their names to no avail. The owner seems more interested in getting reviewed then in his people being recognized. If I had to recon a guess they hired day labors rather then having there own team? That is just speculation on my part. Two of the three guys had company shirts one did not. The floors so far to date are very nice we had our own materials flooring and everything else. They we able to get the floor in with out transitions from one room to the next about 3 rooms 1 closet and a large entryway. If I had to do it all over again I would hire the company again how ever I would get the workers names before they left.

Reinel, Chris, and Oscar are a dream team. The prospect of refinishing our wood floors seemed daunting, but their preparation, planning, and communication made the process incredibly easy. The refinished floors turned out even better than I hoped, and the experience of working with their team exceeded all expectations. Hire them!

🚨 CONTRACTOR SHOUT-OUT CHECK-IN When it comes to floors… we don’t play games. These guys are some of the best in the business, and when they say they can match an existing floor, they are NOT exaggerating. Floor Coverings International We had them come in on a remodel with older wood floors, and the match was so good you genuinely can’t tell where old stops and new starts. So good, in fact, that the homeowner said: “Yeah… y’all need to come back and make the original floors pretty too.” That’s trust. That’s craftsmanship. That’s knowing who to call when details matter. We trust them with every flooring project we need done — because quality like this speaks for itself.
