This summer I had a roof leak in my new home. Water had saturated the hardwood floor in my laundry room and the upstairs hallway. While this was an unfortunate situation, my first interaction with Tracey, Gary and the Floor Coverings International team put me at ease, and I knew that everything would be okay. Tracey and Gary laid out various options for me to repair the damaged floor or install new floors, and even helped me identify and source the exact same wood that was originally installed for an identical match. They truly went above and beyond. I felt so at ease that I even decided to re-do my basement flooring to a much more robust and visually appealing vinyl plank. The installation was seamless and done with high quality and professionalism. I couldn't be happier and have nothing but positive things to say about the entire Floor Covering Interational team. Submitted an RFQ, salesperson comes out and days later submits an unitemized quote substantially higher than a competitor, who was of the same tier doing more work in our home. We email asking why theirs is so much higher - also expressing our desire to go with them, but again wanting to know the reason for the substantial difference - and get ghosted. Follow-up via email a second time, no response. If this is how they treat potential customers, I don’t think they’ll do a good job or have great customer service/support during and after the install.

Floor Coverings International of Dayton earned a 5-star rating from us due to the quality of service we received. Eric was knowledgeable and professional every time we spoke. His quote was more than reasonable in comparison to other quotes. He took the time to find the exact carpet to complement our home. He assisted in selecting the quality, the color, and explained the delivery and installation process. We were told by another company it would take approximately two weeks for the same carpet to arrive and then they would schedule the installation which could be another two weeks. Eric had the carpet here and installed in one week because he knew there was urgency. The carpet installer who worked for Floor Coverings International of Dayton did the best installation of carpet that we’ve ever seen. He was proficient and his skills were evident when we saw the finished job. We strongly recommend this company to everyone based on our experience. We received personal in-home quality service and Eric responded immediately to all calls and answered all questions throughout the entire process.

Had a tight deadline before hosting people at the house and needed the kitchen floor replaced. Old linoleum had started peeling up near the sink, so we went with vinyl plank instead since it's more water-resistant. Communicated the timeline upfront and they worked around it without cutting corners on the prep work.
