I needed to get my flooring replaced after having some plumbing overflow issues which affected all the major areas of my home last November. I contacted Floor Coverings International and Mark came by to discuss options and provide a free quote. Mark's knowledge of flooring surpassed the 3 other companies i had come by to give quotes. Mark was personable and passionate and provided me with 3 different options, a like for like (there was a mix of hardwood and laminate flooring), Luxury Vinyl Plank, and removing the flooring and just getting the slab refurbished (which is a terrazzo floor, FCI would do the removing and another company would do the refurbishing). I ultimately decided to go with the 2nd option of the Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring. In the meantime, my insurance company took almost a year to fulfill their financial obligation. Once I received the funds I reached back out to Mark and Jenny. Mark came by again so I could pick out what style/color of LVP I wanted to go with and I ended up choosing a Pro Solutions 12 style in the color Windwood by Chesapeake Flooring. We scheduled the demo and install for the 1st week of November with Jenny. Due to current physical handicap and having to work from home, I ended up staying in a hotel right down the street, so as to let the demo and install teams in each morning and to lockup at night when they left. Jenny was great communicating through texts daily providing progress uodates. The demo did have some curveballs as under the flooring in the bathroom and part of the guest bedroom, they found an additional layer of tile that had to be removed as well as grinding the terrazzo slab down some to get prepared for the adhesive used to lay the new flooring with some additional bags of float needed to level things out where needed. While the unforseen circumstances added an additional 1/2 day, when I arrived home to see the final product I was so happy with how good the new flooring turned out. The transition pieces went perfectly with the flooring and the new baseboards look great as well. Its almost like a whole new home! Mark, Jenny, and demo and install teams were great to work with! If you are looking to get your flooring replaced, I highly recommend Floor Coverings International!!

So friendly, helpful and professional in every way! The samples come to your home. Lots of choices and advice to get exactly what you want. The installers are wonderful! Perfect job, furniture is moved and they also clean up. I highly recommend!!!

They had a wide variety of floors. We picked out a light colored one. Steve came and removed the old floor and discovered a wet sub floor. We had a water leak. After the leak was repaired, Steve returned and installed the flooring we picked out. We're very happy with his work and the finished product.

Mark / Jenny were a blessing to work with! I was in the market for LVP and carpet, with a particular budget and timeframe, and they went above and beyond to deliver. (I also changed my mind about 100 times, and they couldn’t have been more patient with me.)

I had a great experience with Floor Coverings International of North Tampa. The owner Mark and his wife Jenny are both so nice and professional. Mark came to my home and made a point to spend a lot of time showing me different flooring options and answering all my questions. I had an estimate given to me in a matter of just minutes. Yesterday the installers finished putting in my floors and I LOVE it! The floors look amazing and the installers were so friendly and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I'm so happy I picked this company to install my floor.
